Here's the deal: we had my family in town for a number of things for the past two weeks, not the least of which was my cousin's wedding in Houston. (Note: That wedding was spectacularly fun, and props go to my uncle, aunt, and cousin for bringing it all together!)
Actually, I still have family in town at the moment, and I probably should be off socializing with them while they're still here. I just wanted to make sure that no one thought:
a) that we'd kicked off,
b) that we'd called off the wedding, or
c) that we'd been trapped under something immensely heavy for the past two weeks and were unable to make it to the computer.
I'll get back to the wedding details (time is ticking!) in a day or two. I've got to call the caterer and talk to my (potential?) photographers. The RSVP cards are coming back in now, so we don't have a choice -- we have to be ready!
