A Haiku for Bethany

As promised, HelpMakeCents will post an advertisement, a rant, a picture, a memo, a link, a banana, a tire iron -- you name it, I'll post it! -- in return for your small monetary donation to our wedding.  We've been keeping this up for just under three months now, and frankly, I'm feeling pretty good about the positive vibes.  And the negative ones.

Yeah.  Really.  I feel good.

Na na na na na na na.

Bethany recently donated to our wedding and after a few emails back and forth, I discovered that she didn't want an ad... or a rant... or a picture... or even a tire iron posted in return for her generous donation.  She didn't want anything.

She just wished us the best of luck on our wedding.

She's amazing, so I offered to write her a haiku or something.  I forgot to mention to her that the last haiku I wrote was entitled, "A Haiku -- Which Isn't Really a Haiku Because It Has Too Many Syllables."  So.  I'm sorry, Bethany.  Here's my best attempt at a haiku.

A Haiku for Bethany
(or, Thin Mints are the Best Girl Scout Cookies)

Thin Mints are the best
Bethany is a Thin Mint
In worlds of Trefoils

I really hope she likes Thin Mints and not Trefoils.

As always, support our sponsors (or the Girl Scouts), donate to us if so inclined (or donate to the Girl Scouts... they're a lot cuter than we are), and just generally keep a smile on your face.
